Before commencing processing in Odoo the following items need to be finalised/closed:

• archive all the historical balancing accounts to prevent these accounts being used for future journals
• archive the opening balance journals so they cannot be used for any new transactions
• reset the accounts on the Inventory Loss location
• set the "Lock Everything" date to the day before go-live to prevent any back dated journals being created.
