We are proud to announce that Netway Networks is now a Platinum Partner of Community Clubs Victoria (CCV) bringing our managed IT and cyber security expertise to the state’s community clubs.
CCV is the industry association for Victoria’s community clubs. It represents more than one thousand clubs that together employ over 30,000 staff, serve around 2.3 million members and contribute $1 billion to the Victorian economy through volunteer work, community donations and subsidised access to facilities.
“We are excited to welcome Netway as a platinum partner of Community Clubs Victoria. We look forward to partnering with Netway’s team of highly skilled and experienced IT professionals to maximise the technology needs of our members,” said Charles Moon, CEO of Community Clubs Victoria.
The partnership builds on our work with community clubs in Queensland and NSW. It gives Victorian clubs direct access to managed IT and cyber security support designed around how clubs actually operate.
“Community clubs are at the heart of so many Victorian towns and suburbs. They deserve technology that is reliable, secure and easy to manage. We are proud to partner with CCV and look forward to helping clubs spend less time worrying about IT and more time on their members,” said Andrew Wilson, General Manager of Netway Networks.
Why this partnership matters
Clubs are not typical small businesses. On any given day, a club might be running a bistro, a gaming room, a function centre, a membership program and a sporting operation. Often that happens across more than one venue, with a lean admin team.
That mix creates a lot of moving parts:
- Member personal information that needs to be protected.
- Point-of-sale, booking and financial systems that can’t go down during peak trading.
- Gaming and compliance obligations that demand reliable record keeping.
- Boards that need clear, plain-English reporting on cyber risk.
- Staff who need technology that just works, without constant workarounds.
As a CCV Platinum Partner, our role is to help clubs get on top of all of this, without the jargon or the guesswork.
What we bring to Victorian clubs
- Cyber security that protects your reputation: A breach doesn’t just affect systems, it affects member trust. We help clubs secure member data, financial systems and staff accounts against realistic, everyday threats.
- Reliable systems during the hours that matter: Proactive monitoring and support means problems get picked up before they disrupt a Friday night service or a major event.
- Clear costs, no surprises: Fixed-price managed IT services with no lock-in contract, so boards can plan with confidence.
- Advice you can take to your board: Straightforward guidance on where you stand, what needs attention first and what can wait.
Where to start
If you manage a club and aren’t sure how your IT and cyber security stack up, here are three practical first steps:
- Get a clear picture. A technology and cyber security assessment shows you where the real risks are, so you can prioritise with confidence. Our guide to IT and cyber security questions is a good place to begin.
- Bring your people along. Most cyber incidents start with a convincing email or text. Regular, practical awareness training for staff and volunteers is one of the most cost-effective protections a club can have.
- Take it one step at a time. You don’t need to overhaul everything at once. A phased approach keeps disruption low and gives staff time to adjust.
Technology in service of community
Clubs exist to bring people together. Good technology should make that easier, freeing up managers to focus on members, events and community, rather than chasing IT problems.
We are looking forward to working alongside CCV and its member clubs across metropolitan and regional Victoria.
