IT Essentials – Are you overpaying for your IT?

Video length: 1 minute 18 seconds

Finding out if you're getting good value from your IT provider can be very difficult.

And one of the main reasons that is a flood of invoices to be able to count and tally on a monthly and annual basis.

That's why I've devised a very simple spreadsheet, which breaks down your IT expenses into five simple categories.

We host this spreadsheet on our Netway website, and I would love very much if you download it and used it.

It will help consolidate your spending and ultimately will probably save you money.

To balance out cost efficiency, I would highly recommend ensuring you're using all of your licences to their full extent.

A lot of organisations are paying huge amounts of money for 365 licencing, phone licencing, and many others and not using them to their full capacities.

Some licences aren't even assigned.

When it comes to tracking your IT expenses, you very much have to engage with the providers that are giving you these services.

A lot of the times, a simple question in an email to your vendor or distributor can resolve a lot of these questions.

Ultimately, it is on you as a decision-maker to understand what your monthly expenses are and make an educated decision whether or not your company needs them.

If you're a decision-maker, download our spreadsheet and you'll be well on your way to understanding if you're getting good value from your IT providers.
