The Netpath Vehicle Tracking System combines Automatic Vehicle Location with 'state of the art' mobile messaging providing fleet owners with continuous real time position and status information from fleet vehicles. This provides management and control room staff with a significant new level of information.

Netpath has been developed by Netway-JRD, a joint venture between Netway Communications and JRD Communications.

The Netpath system uses the NAVSTAR GPS satellite system to determine position information and may be interfaced to a range of wireless voice and data communications systems for transmission of vehicle coordinates and status to the customers control centre.

Netpath's modular design together with Netway-JRD's local product development capability, facilitates compatibility with existing dispatch systems and adaption to specific users requirments.
